Frontpoint Security - They totally messed up the billing my first month of service
I ordered the equipment and was charged $108 to my credit card. They set up the monthly payment to come out of my checking account with a debit card.
I ordered more equipment because I thought I needed a glass break sensor and a couple more window alarms. ( I actually didn't need them). They credited my credit card for $173.96 but forgot to refund the tax I was charged. This created a credit balance on my account, so the didn't take out the $44.95 on October 3rd, like they were supposed to (from my debit card).
So now they say my account is past due and are calling my daughter-in-law to update my billing info!! (She was only supposed to be called in the event of an emergency). She texted me because she thought it was a scam. someone trying to get my bank account info.
Today, Frontpoint said they would erase the payment for this month. I simply do not understand how this can get so mess up in one month's time.
I have until October 21st to cancel my plan, and you can bet I'm going to do it. I cannot deal with these people for a 3 year contract.
